I pulled up to the stoplight. I looked to my left, and there he was sitting with a cardboard sign. Ripped jeans and a torn shirt, sandals that had been so worn in there was no sole left. Massive bags under his eyes as he stared at me…
“Please, anything will help” the sign read.
Not too sure if he actually needed the money, I decided to roll down my window and give him some extra change that I had. Then the most beautiful thing happened. He smiled. A smile that would light up anyone’s world. It set my soul and heart at ease.
So, my ask for you today is this: tune in to the frequency of love.
We live in a world where negativity sweeps over us and we never see the things that make us happy. A place that uses social media and other outlets to tear people apart, bring them down. Why? Who can that possibly benefit? NO ONE. Unfortunately, it’s so much easier to complain and look at the negative.
How often do we look in the mirror to see how fortunate we are? It would seem as if we never do. There are so many people who have nothing and are more loving and grateful than we are.
So, what I am asking of you today is simple!
Share this post and recall a loving act- either one you did for someone or one someone did for you. Write it down. Share it and ask one other person to as well. Doing this will help us spread the message of love and make the world a better place.
Be loving. Be caring. Be you.
