Advice That Can Change How You Portray Yourself To Others

When I was 17 years old, I will never forget the advice my dad gave me. He said, “never show anyone your weakness.” When he said that I was a bit confused as to what he meant, and it took me years to truly understand.

The thing is in life we are challenged and thrown so many curve-balls. Whether that be from people, our jobs, regardless of where the challenge comes from we all have an opportunity to make it a great moment.

How we react to any given situation in life determines who we are!

So, what does “never show your weakness” really mean?

It means being strong when times are tough, and the ability to KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.Your boss walks in and chews you out, you don’t let emotion take over (a.k.a. your weakness). Your significant other is upset with you, you bite your lip and let the emotions die down. It’s the constant battle of not letting our weakness overcome us and displaying it PUBLICLY.

If you want to scream in the mirror or yell in your car alone… GO AHEAD!!! The idea is to show you can have that composure that makes you a STRONG human to others.

By doing this you will teach yourself better SELF CONTROL! You will be respected by others, and you will prevent possibly damaging relationships with others. You see people look up to those who are strong, confident and can hold their composure.

By never showing our weakness we become a person people look up to, we become an alpha and a person that is loved by all.

Be STRONG. Be BRAVE. Be BEAST.
